André Wagner

André is business manager, consultant, network expert and connoisseur of web technologies. In 2008, he successfully graduated from his apprenticeship as a specialized computer scientist in system integration.

In 2009, he was awarded a scholarship from the EU Atlantis program. The scholarship allowed him to study Business Information Systems in multiple universities, located in Frankfurt (GER), Boston (US) and also Kemi-Tornio (FIN).

After work he loves to golf and fire up his Weber Grill for a nice BBQ.

Jan Müller

Jan is the creative director, programmer, and innovative web developer. After graduating high school in 2005, he began his apprenticeship as a specialized computer scientist in application development.

Since 2009, he has studied Digital Media in Dieburg (GER), with a focus in interactive media, video and sound.

When not in the office, his hobbies include skiing, filming and photography.

Let it begin

In 2005, we founded our company, based in Germany. The founding of the company coincided with our apprenticeships as specialized computer scientist.

In that very same year, we debuted our first commercial website.

Our idea

We want to reinvigorate the web by creating flexible, user-friendly and fully customized websites. Previously, the company was known as
“{Stereographx – web design solutions}”

Why this name? Because there were two of us, and to be honest: it sounded pretty fancy.

Adjusting some things

The passing years have brought many changes. Our most drastic decision was to reinvent our company brand.

We wanted a name that symbolized our approach towards web development: simple, stylish, and sophisticated.
Thus, we rebranded ourselves as: “abteilungweb – hosting & web development”.

The next level

At the end of 2008, we moved out of the garage and into a real office. We bought new hardware, got real desks and finally had our own landline.

After that, we decided to reconfigure our service portfolio to include web hosting, logo/print design and online marketing.Our business was ready to blossom.

Team player

In the midst of 2010, we began our partnership with the remarkable advertising agency “Subito advertising GmbH”.

In addition, we recruited a freelancer for motion graphics and graphic design.They will be able to support us in our growing number of projects.

Connecting people

In 2011, mobile computing is more popular than ever. Accordingly, we have been intensively focusing on mobile website design and social network integration.

Now, we will go further to develop most efficient methods to enhance customer websites with this new technologies.

Expand the business

We continuously look for opportunities, such as a new business partner or creative freelancer. In 2011, we want to expand our reach to even more European countries.

In doing so, we hope to find new and exciting challenges with the people that share our interest: to create a truly unique and one of a kind web experience.
